General FAQ

For Weekday & Weekend Class

Schedules & Timings

The Weekday track is designed for those who have open availability during the work week.

  • Frequency: 2 days per week.
  • Days: Typically Monday - Friday depending on you choice of course

Best for: Students, recent graduates, corps members, or anyone currently taking a career break who prefers to keep their weekends free.

The Weekend track utilizes both days of the weekend to ensure you get the same amount of contact hours as the weekday students without affecting your job.

  • Frequency: 2 days per week.
  • Days: Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (both days).

Best for: Full-time employees and business owners who are occupied Monday through Friday.

No. Since both tracks run for 2 days a week with similar hours, the course duration (time to completion) is identical. You will cover the same milestones at the same speed, regardless of which batch you join.

Curriculum & Learning Pace

Yes. The curriculum covers the exact same modules, projects, and tools. Whether you learn Product Design (UI/UX), Web Development, or Data Analysis, you will graduate with the same skill set.

Generally, yes. Because the contact hours are compressed into the weekend, the duration of the weekend cohorts often extends slightly longer (e.g., 12–16 weeks) compared to the accelerated weekday cohorts (e.g., 8–10 weeks) to ensure you have enough time to absorb the material.

Yes!

  • Weekday Students: You will have daily assignments and immediate feedback.

Weekend Students: You will be given take-home projects and reading materials to work on during your free time, Monday through Friday. This "flipped classroom" approach ensures you don't lose momentum between Saturdays.

Support & Certification

Absolutely. Both tracks include access to the SkillRise Circle community. You can chat with instructors and peers via our Slack/Discord channels throughout the week if you get stuck on a task, regardless of which batch you are in.

Yes. Our internship placement support is based on competence, not your class schedule. Once you complete your final project and portfolio, you are eligible for our career support services, mock interviews, and internship recommendations.

No. Your certificate will state your competency in the specific skill (e.g., "Professional Certificate in Frontend Engineering"). It does not distinguish between weekend or weekday attendance.

Fees & Enrollment

Typically, the tuition fee is the same for both tracks as the content and value provided are identical. However, payment installment plans may vary slightly based on the duration of the course. Check the current brochure for specific pricing.

Transfers are generally discouraged because the pacing is different. However, in emergency situations, this can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the program management, subject to seat availability in the other cohort.

Internship FAQ

General Program Questions

It is a bridge between education and employment. You enroll in a specialized short course, demonstrate your skills by completing real-world projects, and pass a competency test. Once verified, we send an official Placement Letter to a company of your choice, introducing you as a verified, skilled intern ready for work.

SkillRise provides the training and the introduction. Whether the internship itself is paid or unpaid depends entirely on the policy of the company you choose to work for. We advocate for your skills, but we do not dictate the company's payroll policies.

No. While we provide a verified, professional introduction that significantly boosts your chances, we cannot force a company to hire you. The final hiring decision rests with the company.

Cold-emailing companies often results in rejection because they don't know if you are skilled. The SkillRise Letter acts as a third-party validation. It tells the company, "We have tested this student, they have completed these specific projects, and they are competent." This credibility makes your application stand out.

If your first choice declines, you don't lose out! You can select another organization, and we will issue a new placement letter for them (up to 1 time). Regardless of the outcome, you keep your Certificate of Completion, your Portfolio, and the skills you learned.

Absolutely. You can pick any company, local or international, that accepts remote interns.

Payments & Refunds

You are paying for the educational component (the specialized course and webinars), the assessment (grading your projects), the resources (portfolio templates), and the administrative service of verifying and sending your credentials to employers.

No. The fee covers the training and the verification service, which are delivered regardless of the employer's final decision.
